Elizabeth Muhayimana drinks holy water from the Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows in Kibeho, Rwanda, as her children Claudine, 7 (left), and Simon, 5 (right) stand by. Elizabeth walks 30-minutes from her home for holy water at least once a week. Today she came to wash her daughter's infected feet in the water.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows in Kibeho, Rwanda, is the only sanctioned Marian sanctuary in Africa. Kibeho's overseers and the Rwandan government hope this place will become a top tourism site.
